Is the law school reference letter helpful in getting you into law school? No, not really. LSAT scores and undergraduate GPAs are typically the king-maker. However, you will have to still get these personal reference letters from former professors. Don't waste your time (or anybody elses) with letters from spouses, family, neighbors, co-workers, supervisors from stupid, meaningless jobs, focus instead on mentors and professors.
